È morto all’età di 50 anni il batterista dei FOO FIGHTERS Taylor Hawkins.
La band ha confermato la sua scomparsa in una dichiarazione ieri sera (venerdì 25 marzo).
“La famiglia dei FOO FIGHTERS è devastata dalla tragica e prematura scomparsa del nostro amato Taylor Hawkins”, si legge nel messaggio. “Il suo spirito musicale e la sua risata contagiosa vivranno con tutti noi per sempre.
“I nostri cuori vanno a sua moglie, ai suoi figli e alla sua famiglia e chiediamo che la loro privacy sia trattata con il massimo rispetto in questo momento molto difficile”.
I FOO FIGHTERS erano in tournée in Sud America al momento della morte di Taylor Hawkins e si stavano preparando per esibirsi a Bogotà, in Colombia, venerdì. Quello spettacolo è stato cancellato.
La causa della morte di Taylor non è stata rivelata.
